There are growing calls for Canada to increase security measures across the far North to protect Arctic sovereignty in light of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Defence Minister Anita Anand says she’s exploring diplomatic channels to discuss the security of the region, along with a plan to modernize the North American Aerospace Defence Command.
